Hacienda San Juan's experienced guides organize the shooting in the traditional style. And, although a well-organized shoot requires preparation and planning, the day's pace is still leisurely and relaxing. The shooting location is determined only after very thorough scouting of the birds during the previous days by our experienced, full time hunting scouts. This assures you of an "Awesome Shoot" rather than a "Good Hunt". Enjoying Mexico's liberal game limits?..this will be an experience you will not soon forget.

Quail Hunting (November thru February)

Many Hunters seem to forget that Mexico offers some of the most awesome Bobwhite quail hunting on the planet. Our groups are limited to 4 hunters per truck, using dog teams of experience pointers with a south style 4WD trucks and a seasoned dog handler to accompany your group. We consistently average 12-25 coveys of birds over our dogs daily. Due to the availability of water from our spring fed river, we will hunt close by next to irrigated corn and sorghum fields hedgerows with little or no walking involved. Dogs are always rotated on a regular basis to allow the dogs plenty of rest. Of course, personal dogs may be used and Hacienda San Juan will furnish kennels at no extra charge. (Check with US Customs on regulations required for importation of dogs back into the States.)

At Hacienda San Juan we only recommend using Benelli Shotguns because of their time tested trouble free operation and low recoil. That is why we offer for your enjoyment, Benelli Super 90's in both 12 and 20 guage, all with extended shell magazines. Don't bother with bringing your guns, just make reservations to use ours and save time at the border when crossing into Mexico.

Reservations require a 50% deposit. Balance is due 28 days prior to your arrival at camp.
Mexican Paper work due no later than 21 days prior to your arrival at camp.
Cancellation Policy: No Refunds allowed. Credit may be taken on future trips only in the same calendar year.
